CELEBRATING WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

The green economy has been described as the economic growth that reduces carbon emissions and pollution while enhancing efficient use of energy and resources.

With the celebration of World Environment Day, several objectives come in mind, which include:
  1. Awareness creation on priority environment issues.
  2. Providing a platform for public education and awareness on the value of environment.
  3. Assisting in prioritizing environment agenda in the country and beyond.
  4. Influencing a positive attitude towards the environment.
In celebrating the day, we engaged the future leaders in understanding the value of environment and playing part in conserving it.

The use of art in conservation engaged the children in feeling part of the environment and enjoying it.
By doing so, the children got to express their views on the environment they wish and want.

After the drawings, the children were engaged in creating the future they want through tree planting.
